Privacy notice
This notice explains what happens to the information you give us through this website. It is written to be read, not to be waded through.
Who we are
Mediation Hub. Operated in partnership with 80Twenty.
Contact: info@mediationhub.co
What we collect
When you submit the self-referral demonstration we keep three things: the email address you entered, the time, and a reference number.
Everything else you type into the demonstration — names, telephone numbers, addresses, dates of birth, details of children, notes — is shown back to you once on the acknowledgement and then discarded. It is not stored and it is not emailed to anyone.
If you use the postcode lookup, the postcode you type is sent to our address provider, Ideal Postcodes, to find matching addresses. They receive the postcode only.
Why we use it
To send you one automated acknowledgement of the demonstration and, if you would like it, a follow-up from the team. We do not send marketing without your consent.
Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry.
Server logs
Like every website, our servers record each request they receive: the page asked for, the time, the browser software, the page that linked here and the internet address (IP address) the request came from. For the demonstration's postcode lookup, the records also note the outward part of the postcode (the letters and digits before the space), never the whole postcode or the address found. We use these records to keep the site secure, to spot faults and to see how much it is used. We do not use them to identify you, and we set no analytics or advertising cookies.
The records are held in the UK for 90 days and then deleted. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website.
Where it is stored, and for how long
The email address, time and reference from the demonstration are stored in the UK and deleted after three months. The automated acknowledgement is sent to the address you entered from info@mediationhub.co.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict how it is used, and to object to its use.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
